Morning

Nice sunny Saturday - lots of jobs to do- washing machine on ready to hang out bedding....need to clean - do some planting - shopping - ironing - aaaaahhh the usual relaxing weekend - but you don't mind because its the weekend - and there is no work!.....
Had a blitz on Xmas cards the other day - made these few on mass production...Love these LOTV images - sorry no close ups...so that's me started with xmas cards - Have you???

Friday

Hi there............

Sorry work been getting in the way...and then hubby and I went away for a long weekend to Budapest-Hungary...wow what a place - went with one of my bezzies and her hubby - Trace my other bezzie couldn't make it - missed her...but hey ho....Wow was it cold - you know the cold that just goes to your bones...so had to spend lots of time eating and in bars - just to stay warm of course....lots of history going on in Budapest - walked for miles and miles - and crammed sooooo much in....had a great time...

 

Managed to make this card before I went and forgot to post it.... Love this LOTV image....though again my stupid photography skills let me down......

 

Even with a zoom in does not look much better....

 

Bex home this weekend for good - well for next term - she has decided to commute each day - only 1hr each way on the train...so will see how that goes...she just needs to go back now this term for exams so that is good...She has put her order in already as to what she wants to eat as her welcome home meal on Sunday!...

#102 Totally Papercrafts - sketch

Hey it's Friday at long last....feeling happier..its my little sister -s he has been in hospital having a brain tumour removed - radiotherapy in a few weeks now...but things went ok - so that's good - each day is a bonus...anyway - promise no more doom and gloom.

Today's challenge over at Totally Papercrafts is to follow a sketch and its a fab one so pop over and join in with us - fab prize too up for grabs.

I chose this fab LOTV image - made it for my sister...

Added just a bit of glitter and love the brick work with a touch of glossy accents - makes them stand out - love my MS heart punch too, and coloured in using copics

Snow is on its way in Yorkshire tomorrow - fab love it....Come on Sue get out those hats of yours and give us a giggle

lotv xmas card

Morning - what a week so far...busy as always at work and stressful at home...aaaahhhhhhh...thank goodness for card making...

De-stressed make this LOTV card - used my new xmas rose punch - lovin it and my new pearls - and my new Mo Manning image.....slightly blurred or is it my contacts that need a clean?....

Glossed a bit and liquid pearled, not really traditional xmas colours - but I love it....The matched the inside of the card....and used my new MS punch inside - love the bubble holes it creates

Middle of the week so not long to go now till Friday - hang in there folks...chin up if you need a hug...

Mondays here again!!!

Here we go again - but starting the week off with a beautiful LOTV image - made this for a friends Christening - then forgot I had it and made another - oh well...

Crackled the window in the background - think I should have done it stained glass now looking at it....and went wild with the glitter for the dress and bits and bobs...

Used a MS punch for the large butterfly cutting out one in the light pink and another in the dark pink - blob of glue just in the middle and fold wings in - hey presto....

Oh here we are again - Monday again - were has my weekend gone apart from been mums taxi!!!...and getting stressed out with Bex learning to drive - so at the moment she won't go out with me and I won't go out with her - she nearly went into the drive gate post on Saturday...aaaahhhh....BRAKE....!!!

Christmas card for you today a LOTV...love this little fella...need to do more xmas cards - know I will be behind though when it comes to it....

Know the backing paper is tartan - but I quite like the look - xmassy sort of colours 

Added liquid pearls for the snow flakes, coloured with Copics and added a bit of stickles here and there.

Easy peasy - lemon squeezy or what...... as most....no ALL my cards have glitter on.....

This is a fab LOTV card - Christmas I know - but hey ho...... 

Just noticed chopped the dogs nose off....sorry....Coloured in with Copics and as usual added a touch of stickles.....come on give it a go - check out the other teamies work and of course the great prize....

Morning - sorry missed yesterdays posting...you know how it is....Today's image however is a fab LOTV image...what a cutie or what!

This paper goes really well with the image - well in my opinion it does....needs soft colours I think...

Added a touch of glitter and added liquid pearls for her dress, and coloured in with Copics

 Made a little flower to match and just popped a brad in the middle - simple...

So enjoy your day...all of you that are in London already for the wedding tomorrow - hope you have a great spot...me....I am off to a "bit of a do" at my mate Tracey's house...out with the Pimms tomorrow to toast the happy couple....fab

Love this LOTV image, requires hardly any colouring of course - bling is required.................

You know - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue....when you say that, you actually can't can you?....I can't always have to sing it!...or howl in my case....

WEDNESDAY

Blimey - Wednesday already.....someone is pinching my days.....How are you all - hope you are all enjoying the sun - and not stuck in an office like me....Today's card is a great LOTV image....love this little man.

 Punched out the edges with a MS punch and then dotted liquid pearls....these are so easy to use - try them if you have not - in a bottle same shape and make as stickles - but called liquid pearls - you will not be disappointed..

Glossed the wheels , dog nose and eyes, and coloured in with Copics...and only a tiny bit of glitter on the spots...
Now hang out some washing and get outside if you can - another cracking day weather wise is in store.....

Tuesday

Soooo tied yesterday -sorry no posting - thank goodness I took the day off work - would have fallen asleep at my desk....took Archie to the coast to wake up - missed the rain which was good...but as my mate Sue would say - blowing a hoolie!...soooo windy...but fab - tied the little fella out...

Em did well at her running - did so well in her team - sadly though the whole team did not do well...had a good time though - so that's the main thing...Wakefield this weekend - so that's nearer....

Today's card is a fab LOTV image - love the hat scarf...

 Had to add the odd bit of glitter here and there - you know me!....and coloured in with my fab Copics....Added a MS punch and then dotted some liquid pearls in between...

Monday Morning

Morning.....made me laugh over the weekend - read a comment on my blog from the lovely Linda in America and she did not know what "well chuffed" meant...sorry hun....I was happy with myself for doing well...I think it is a Yorkshire expression....it is now a saying you are going to have to use...

Well Bex is off to Cambridge University today - just for a week , sort of trial to see if Uni is for her...You had to apply to go, and only so many are picked per county, so I was pleased she got chosen...though it costs us and the train fair, and she had to go shopping for new "University" clothes...and she wants a Cambridge sweatshirt...so - yes not cheap!....She is back at the weekend and then we have a Belgium exchange student staying with us for a week - Bex has been there, and now she comes to us....

Today's card...now you know all my news for the day - is a fab LOTV card....I dedicate it to you all reading this post.....

 Love her handbag - added some dots using liquid pearls....sure it must be a D&G darling! (sound familiar Tracey?)

Punched out some butterflies using my MS punch - just stick them down the middle then they stand out on the card.

Heeeeeyyyy Tuesdays here......works going ok....another meeting on Wed to talk things over...meetings of meetings of meetings...simple Yes or No would be better - but hey ho...............feeling less stressed already....

Loooooooooooooooooooooooove this image - had a little LOTV shopping experience...it was fab, so you may see one or who of these little fab images in the next few weeks...

Simple card decorations I feel are best for these images as they are so sweet - lots of embellishments are not necessary...but hey ho - each to their own!....

Glossed the bricks to make them stand out, and added a little sprinkle of glitter here and there..

Coloured in with Copics - nothing too heavy though.

Sat morning - Rushing off to Sheffield - Em running today and tomorrow - at work on Monday for a rest!

Chose this great LOTV stamps...makes a great wedding card....

Lace worked well on this I thought..

Simple colouring is required on this card...gotta be blue for the old wedding saying "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue"...

Monday

Morning...wow had a busy weekend - and my cold came out just in time for the weekend - great...can't take any time off work as there is no one else here apart from me...got Friday off so aiming for there....
Went Sloe picking on Saturday to make Sloe Gin....made 18 bottles Sloe Gin and 1 Sloe Whisky...there are sooooo many Sloes out ready for the picking...bumper year this year, and then stewed apples forever for the freezer...and put away my summer clothes and pulled out my winter ones....though off shopping on Friday as I can't seem to fit all of it...what an excuse!.
Today's card is for the Lili of the Valley Challenge #65...Got this stamp at Harrogate craft fair....love it..Hope I have followed the sketch ok...glittered some snowflakes to hopefully bring the card together...

And hard to see as my camera hands are not too brilliant at the moment...glosses the pillar box...and stickled the snow.
