Had a nice day off on Friday shopping - well I followed Bex around whilst she spent...my money...had a good time though - and then went to Wagamamas in York for tea....

Weekend went too fast....

The other day after eating some biscuits at work....not all me....I kept the tube and changed it...

Thought it would make a nice container to put a pressie in for Bex when she leaves to go to Uni.

Added a sentiment on the back, and punched out a MS butterfly on top. Love the Sassy Cheryl image.

Morning..I know early - but can't sleep .It's time for another challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and this week the theme is

NOT A CARD

I decided to do a photo gift box for my eldest who is 18 soon - well Feb - but there is nothing like been prepared....

The outside of the box looks lie this and then you open the box and......

It is a mini photo album.....each fold has a different picture on front and back through the years...

I really liked making this...nice keepsake I thought...hope she does.....

Morning - Ohhhh latesish - well for me this am....sorry...woke up in middle of the night and then could not get back to - went to sleep and then slept when should be awake - typical.

Today's is not a card - but 2 gift boxes I made - one for a boy/one for a girl.

Easy in theory - but needed thinking about...This is the girl one...closed and opened is a box inside where you put yr gift - just noticed not glued that bit down properly on the right...like it with the MS butterfly's on and a tag in the box for you to write yr message on - write this before you stick it down or its hard to do...

And this is the boys one

minus the girlie additions.

Have a great day - hopefully not too wet - though raining here in Yorkshire at the moment.............

Today decided to go Magnolia, hope that is ok with you all...
Looked on Penni's blog and got this fantastic template to make these really nice little boxes to make that special gift that little bit more special.

Magnolias just soooo suited them....and they were so easy to do - If I can do it I am sure you can - so pop over to Penni's blog and borrow the template - though if you do, make sure you give Penni credit on your posting...This is a view of the back of the boxes....will do these again as used both already and the glue is not dry!
