Heeeeey its Friday tomorrow - fantastic....so love the end of a working week....

Looking forward to next week because its come round again....Take That are on tour again - so off to Newcastle on Tues to see them...I know they are down to 3...but its a fab 3....soooo looking forward to it...meeting Bex my daughter in Newcastle and she is coming with me and one of my best friends and her hubby.

Today's card is a fantastic House Mouse image, though shocking picture taking... I did gloss the icing on the cake - but does not come out its best in the picture.

Even when I tried to do a close up - still no better.

 

Just finished some more cakes - so will show those soon....busy bee

Monday Morning

Morning.....made me laugh over the weekend - read a comment on my blog from the lovely Linda in America and she did not know what "well chuffed" meant...sorry hun....I was happy with myself for doing well...I think it is a Yorkshire expression....it is now a saying you are going to have to use...

Well Bex is off to Cambridge University today - just for a week , sort of trial to see if Uni is for her...You had to apply to go, and only so many are picked per county, so I was pleased she got chosen...though it costs us and the train fair, and she had to go shopping for new "University" clothes...and she wants a Cambridge sweatshirt...so - yes not cheap!....She is back at the weekend and then we have a Belgium exchange student staying with us for a week - Bex has been there, and now she comes to us....

Today's card...now you know all my news for the day - is a fab LOTV card....I dedicate it to you all reading this post.....

 Love her handbag - added some dots using liquid pearls....sure it must be a D&G darling! (sound familiar Tracey?)

Punched out some butterflies using my MS punch - just stick them down the middle then they stand out on the card.

Tuesday

Heeeeeyyyy Tuesdays here......works going ok....another meeting on Wed to talk things over...meetings of meetings of meetings...simple Yes or No would be better - but hey ho...............feeling less stressed already....

Loooooooooooooooooooooooove this image - had a little LOTV shopping experience...it was fab, so you may see one or who of these little fab images in the next few weeks...

Simple card decorations I feel are best for these images as they are so sweet - lots of embellishments are not necessary...but hey ho - each to their own!....

Glossed the bricks to make them stand out, and added a little sprinkle of glitter here and there..

Coloured in with Copics - nothing too heavy though.

Heeeerrrrreees Friday!!!!....and its shopping day for me - fab.........and wow did I enjoy my time of pampering yesterday......felt sooooooo relaxed, and no work today - and its an extra special Friday as our challenge blog over at Totally PaperCrafts is 1 yr old and as a birthday celebration we have 8 sponsors with 10 prizes up for grabs.

I saw this Mo Manning image and thought it fit the challenge perfectly.

She is coloured in with Copics - with liquid pearls for the spots on her jeans - glossy accent for her shoes and stickles dotted here and there....

I sponged around the image...and I love her...

Added this fab sentiment - though it looks slightly blurred - sorry...

Busy weekend Bex - eldest- flys off to Brussels with school for a weeks work experience in a law firm on Sat- great opportunity - made my purse so much lighter though, and it will look good for when she applies for University as she wants to study French Law....off out with friends and also Em has a qualifying run on Sun...so whilst Bex is away I can "de grot" her room....not that it will stay tidy for long when she gets back...
