Monday

Morning
Hope you all had a great weekend - Em got a gold for her 80m and silver for her 150m running on Sunday -way to go Em....Wakefield this weekend.
Toady's card is for the challenge over at Just Magnolia #48 - following a sketch - this is my card.
Crackle glazed the leaf - love crackle on leaves - makes them look more "leaf" like. Also stickled her jumper to try and make it look like mohair wool.
The flowers and leaves I made from a punch attaching a brad and of course - crackled the leaves.
I have also entered this card for
the Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge #76- pink green and flowers
and for Quirky Crafts Challenge - theme flowers.
and for SophistiCat Challenge - raining cats and dogs
Had my Sunday joint yesterday - and my crackle on the pork was fantastic - too fantastic - cracked a tooth in half and managed to swallow the half - so hopefully can get to the dentist today - though I dread to think how much it will cost- need it done as it is really hurting - great end to the weekend!
Catch you tomorrow
Sarah

  5. Hi Sarah, just popped by to return the compliment. Love this card - brilliant idea to crackle the leaves, it really works. You're from just outside York, eh? It's a small world!

  7. Sarah, thanks for your comment. If you get to know me you will know I am not keen on Tilda and it is a long standing joke on the Quirky Crafts Forum and blog, so if the DT team use her they normally apologise to me first, hee hee. I am trying to not go on about how much I don't like her, and therefore attempting to just zip my mouth (keep quiet, not like me) and saying nice card (which it is but wouldn't you rather have a Sugar Nellie on there? whoops there I go again).
Sorry Tilda lovers. (I do like the horse though very much and the stamps with back views or "mouth" covered are acceptable despite potato head)!
Funny thing is my cyber friends seem to send me actual cards with her on, winding me up perhaps?
