Thursday

Morning- Firstly can I say a HUGE Thanks to all who commented on my post yesterday regarding my daughters exam results - really nice of you - Thanks....She has gone off to Leeds Festival (a camping pop festival) as our present to her...away till Monday, and then she will kindly come home with all her washing for me.....great!...especially as the weather is due to rain all weekend...nice!

Today's card is a fab image by Mo Manning - Big Guys ...Gotta love these images.
I decided to paper piece his dungarees and hat using the same colour as the backing paper - love paper piecing...try it if you never have ...so easy and looks soooo good...
The rest I coloured in with Copics of course...
Glossed the tom's - better than mine this year...
Thanks for looking - love to read your comments...sending you all hugs
Sarah

  2. Hi Sarah - Fab card - and love the paper piecing! I remember one of my daughters going to the Leeds Festival... that was when we lived a lot further away that we do now. It was very wet, and she came back with a stinking rucksack full of stinking clothes.... Yuck! And you're right - it's lovely to read others' comments on your cards, isn't it? Gives you a special feeling!
    Bye for now

  3. Great masculine card! I have trouble with those. Your paper piecing looks great. Love the glossy accents on the toms.
I feel you on the laundry. I have had 3 extra teenage girls in my house this week. Loads of washing. ~jeni :)

  8. Just wanted to comment back to you on your comment on my blog.I am sorry Sarah for confusing you with all the American terms. I know what you mean about the differences. I love reading some of your terms and trying to figure them out. Who knew paper crafting would become an International lesson. Got love this computer world!

You were right they are football teams. The Packers are from Wisconsin, Redskins are from Washington DC and the Panthers are from North Carolina. Americans do love their football.
