Thought I would show my latest cake for Show me Thursday - posting not up and running as they are behind us - so will link later on tonight - for some reason Mr Blogger will only allow me now to do 2 pictures...wish blogger would sort itself out...
Made this for a Golden Wedding Anniversary for my mate Trace's parents....what do you think?
Covered the cake in shimmer sparkle - zoom in and you can see it - hard to see on these pics - Gold dusted the roses and painted the leaves, and then did an icing pearl design around the bottom - kept it simple - and really love the whole look
Keeping it until nearer the time as it will be eaten at Trace's before the event....and yes Trace - everything is edible.
Take care

Crikey Sarah, what a talented lady you are. Are you sure you don't want to give up the day job and concentrate on the craft. The icing looks fantastic and the gold roses are amazing. Make sure Trace get a picture of the recipients faces, it will be a moment to treasure. :-) xx
